Ok, maybe they aren't MY babies.. but I have been following them since they were little and fuzzy in the nest (see previous discussion I made) And now they are adulting and killing things. I went to the cemetery to look for the three of them and I didn't HEAR or see them. - i say hear. because that is how I usually find them.. they spend the day screaming at each other, and I usually just track them down by zoning in on where the screams are coming from. The other day... NOTHING.. it was quiet as.. .well a cemetery I guess.. I am afraid they all may have moved on and expanded their territory. exploring life beyond the great cemetery. I will keep checking back. -These chicks gave me HOURS of viewing pleasure and thousands (and I am not kidding about that) of Photos This is one of my last photos (last week) of one of the Baby Red Tail Hawks they are only a few months old and huge. man they grow fast!

I am sure that all your photos are beautiful. This "baby" is huge and he shows that he can be aggressive too.

What a beautiful hawk. I hope you'll get a chance to catch a shot of mom and dad when they come back to the nest for mating season, hawks mate for life and usually come back to the same nest year after year.

Thank you, I hope so too. But truthfully I will not be able to tell them apart. Only the father who has metal bands on his legs is different and recognizable!
