I went into our only grocery store in town yesterday and headed down the isle to the TV dinners. There was an older gentleman standing there at the door I was going to use. Good looking, about 6'2" tall and a nice bod. He said, "I'll save you some." I started laughing and we chit-chatted for a few minutes.
Continued on and when I got to the check-out; guess who was in front of me? Yuppers, Mr. Good Looking. He told the cashier, "I'm gonna buy all her food." I said, "Seriously?" You don't have to do that." He said it was his good deed for the day and besides, 'he's wealthy'.
I thought; dang, I'd like to get to know him better (snicker).
I told him thank you and we chatted a few more minutes. I asked him if it was okay to give him a hug and he said sure. So we did. Dang it; he didn't ask for my phone number. 
My groceries came to $61. Bless his heart. I don't even know his first name; dang it!

You got that right @Butterfingers . Just the odds of being in the same check out line and the fact that we were both done shopping at the same time is amazing.

He asked me how long I had lived in Fairfield and I said 22 years. He said he was born there and he can remember when that grocery store was a drive-in theater. I'm shocked we haven't run into each other before @rebelann .
