The Blessings of Boxes of Food!

I can’t complain about my hours being cut, my pay being slashed in half, not able to go places without restrictions, and so on and on because I have to live each day one day at a time. Since March of this year, I have been working online for my employer and although my hours and pay were cut in half, I’m grateful that I still have a job and still get an income that helps pay for housing, some bills, and food. Also, for the past couple of months since the pandemic began, my family was always blessed with boxes of food being dropped off by friends and members of my church, which helped a lot during these times. This reminds me of the days in the past when I was involved in a food bank drive in which we went around the neighborhood asking for families if they could donate anything to the cause whether it be can goods, clothes, or other household items that other people in need could use. How awesome the feeling is when you help others who need help get food, clothes, shelters, and so forth. To me there are such people as angels on Earth! When I look at it from my perspective how it is when a person shows up at the right time, at the right moment when I need help. It’s like..”you’re my lifesaver” and I know that for a fact because I was once on the other side of the line getting boxes of food from my angels on Earth.

Yes those with a job and some source of income are far better than those who have been jobless for months now
