My Dog Hurt Her Neck

I don't even know how she did it. She started shaking and whining the other night so we brought her to the after hours emergency vet. They said it appears she hurt her neck, but to run additional test it would cost hundreds of dollars more. We figured we would follow up with her regular vet. Well she appeared to be doing better. She was back to her old self for a couple of days, then she started acting up again last night. We couldn't get in to see her regular vet today, but did get into another. He told us it looks like she hurt her neck (we didn't even tell him about that) He said we'll treat it as muscle injury, and if not better in a week, we'll do x rays etc. He was looking out to save us money which was nice. Considering what the emergency vet charged, we got a whole lot more for less with the new vet. We got meds to give her and even trimmed her nails-free. When i asked the emergency vet if they would do it, they wanted $40! So keeping fingers crossed the meds help.
