Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I hope well.
I know I did not share my food/health journey post last night for Friday. I had finished my notifications and then was just too tired to read posts, or share anything of my own.
So, I will share about the two days briefly as possible.
Weight ~
Starting: 189.4
Friday - 173.4 (down from 181 on Monday)
Today - 174.2 (went up almost a pound...I had carbs Friday though).
Blood sugars today ~
Fasting - 171
Meal 1 - 131
Meal 2 - 153
Meal 3 - 98
Friday - I didn't track all of the food, but before dinner I had over 100 carbs already.
I did do an hour workout though.
Saturday - July 25th
Meal 1 - Home made low carb chicken tenders (breading was pork rinds...and instead of dredging in flour first I used unflavored protein powder).
Dipped these in some sugar free BBQ sauce.
Meal 2 - "low carb" philly cheese steak taco
Meal 3 - more of the chicken tenders
Snacks - throughout the day I had 4 pieces of my sugar free/low carb tiger fudge.
This was a much higher protein day than usual.
Saturday's Macros -
Calories - 1,286
Protein - 111
Fat - 78
Net carbs - 20
Sugars - 5
Workout minutes - 95
Calories burned - 789
steps - close to 11,000
Pretty good day macros wise actually. I don't know if the low carb tortillas are great for me though - or maybe I just need to have them once a week. They are higher in carbs - but it is mostly fiber.
We'll see what the scale says tomorrow.
What do you think? Also, how did you do these past 2 days?
Here is one workout I did today - it is a short one that really works out the arms.
Hey guys! My name is Emily Thorne. I'm a personal trainer/dance instructor/caffeine addict/pug mom from downtown Toronto. For those of you who take my Pop Zu...

Hi,
Good that you are seeing progress in keeping fit. What is your BMI and duration of exercise per week?
