Yes ! I have a LITE-ON DVD-WRITER SHW-160P6S, DVD+/-R, DVD-RW, CD-R, RW, ... I buy it for $CAN 50 6 month ago, new drive. I have a lot of stuff in my computer and without my dvd burner my 250gig will be full in no time. I burn about 200 dvd disc since i purchase it and i don't have any problem. I have a lite-on cd-writer too, but i don't use it anymore 700 meg is not enough for me. I hope to see the new HD-DVD and the blue-ray in my computer so i can burn more than 4gig/8.5 gig at time. I just can't live without burning stuff. btw you need it for backup what you will do on a hard-drive failure ? recovery from 1.44 disquette ?
