The Inner Child in Us

As a grandmother for the first time, I enjoy receiving and viewing pictures of my two grandchildren (a boy and a girl) from their parents either through my phone or on facebook. I especially love watching videos of them playing with their parents at playgrounds, at home, or wherever they go. It brings back memories of how I used to take my children to the park or play with them at home. I saw how my daughter would take her daughter for walks and then took pictures and video recordings of her in her stroller relaxing and enjoying the breeze or nature. Also my son’s wife would send pictures and videos of my grandson laughing and having fun during a visit to the zoo, park, or the store. The lesson that I learned from these pictures and videos are to enjoy life with those you love. In the videos and pictures I see my grandchildren enjoying being children, and not only that but also their parents were laughing and rolling on the grass, playing with toys, and involved in the fun their children are enjoying. My daughter-in-law would make funny noises and faces and would bring our grandson to laughter. My daughter would play peek-a-boo with her daughter and she would burst in laughter. When we talk on the video messenger, I would sing my heart out and they would laugh and coo at my silliness. Life is short, so continue to bring out the inner child in u

@nawala123 i like teacher. a teacher usually masters the science of psychology. can read other people's characters. can put yourself in everything.

If that is the case, it means putting yourself in the position of being an adult and when to behaving in a child. because I think everyone also has both of these qualities that cannot be eliminated. just how to put it according to the conditions.

The love and joy we get from our grandchildren is priceless. Yours sound young. My granddaughter just turned 12 and my grandson is 10. The joy continues. We are certainly blessed.

They are absolutely blessings to us. I believe the saying that goes, "Be young in heart!" because when we are with our grandchildren, we feel happy which are great feelings. Feeling happy is good because it also helps us to be healthy. I'm certain that your grandchild know how much you love them and they will in turn take care of you when the right time comes. Both my grandchildren just turned one this year so I have a long way to go being a grandmother which I'm sure will be a joyful journey!

I am way too for to be a granny yet. However I could see my mother in law eyes, when she sees her grandchildren.

There will be a time when you will become a grandmother and you will know how it feels just like how you see the reaction from your mother-in-law.

happy to be a grandmother surrounded by children and grandchildren despite the distance apart. but with advances in technology now it can eliminate the distance to bring the family closer

@Manasseh0119 very true, because the demands of work are spread all over the world, making families separate
