Very true, people indeed does come and go from sites like this and it is wonderful both to see new people while also be reacquainted with old friends.

Hello Torunn, Yes now when you are mentioning categories, I realize that they are no longer there. I do recognize we used to tag posts back then as well, maybe they have made this change to increase the amount of "categories" without having to add actual categories. But here the challenge comes to peoples ability of spelling, if you spell your tagged word wrong, it is less likely to be found.

@Torunn Of course, I can easy imagine some people didn't think before selecting the category to poste in, which doesn't make it easier for us to search amongst the good quality discussions. There are many options in the search tool, I should probably investigate it a bit further.

@Downwindz I read somewhere that they dropped the categories because people kept posting in the wrong one. I think they made it easier to find older posts with interesting topics, searching for them is a bit more of hassle

I think it is an awesome change that they have halfed the amount needed to obtain payout. Even if getting paid for ones MyLot activities are just secondary.

Then I should greet you welcome to MyLot... It is indeed a great community, which I realize now that I have missed.

Yeah, it is indeed almost a decade, and I still can't believe MyLot is healthy and thriving. But it is, which is amazing!
