Planning next week's to-do list

So here in the Netherlands, it is currently Sunday evening and I am planning next week's to-do list, so that I know what I need to focus on. I am a Freelancer and I have several different clients, thus I work with both daily and weekly goals or to-do's, as each of my clients have different needs. But I also like to use to-do lists to keep my focus and not get side-tracked. Do you make to-do lists for work or just your daily life?

No, I just go with the flow. I’m retired. Besides, I never looked at my lists when I made them.

I am looking forward to the day I can go on official retirement due to either age or preferable, financial freedom to do what I like to do.

@MALUSE writing lists to bring when your buying groceries is certainly very useful and it has several advantages. Such as; you don't forget items you really need, but also you avoid bringing items home that you already have and do not need.

@cherriefic I tend to reach much more when I've made to-do lists, maybe this is also why I try to do them.

Indeed, life can sometimes be very unpredictable... This is why I work with two types of to-do lists...

I'm retired but still make lists from time to time. My memory isn't as good as it used to be.

I find lists so very useful for all sorts of stuff, regardless if it is for buying groceries or just regular day to day things that needs to get done in the house.

I have a daily to do list which I refer to which keeps me organized. I may not get to everything that day but after I accomplish each task I'll add more to the list or start a new one. It's a great way to declutter your mind and slow yourself down. It's much easier than trying to do many things at once.

I do very much agree, it also works very well if you are affraid of forgetting certain things that must be done, but doesn't have the highest priority.
