A child with special needs gets his dream service dog in Odessa

My admiration for a family who lives in Odessa Texas who faced the challenge of raising funds so they could buy a service dog for a 14 year male named Luke Berridge who has autism.
The Berridge family found one way to raise funds to purchase the service dog by baking brownies from their own home.
After the brownies were made, Todd Berridge who is the dad of Luke would drive his auto with his family to sell the brownies to first responders and people in their community as well as use the social media site Facebook.
The Berridge family were shocked to learn that in two weeks, they managed to raise near $4,000 dollars by anonymous donors as well as the sales from the sales of their brownies.
Luke as well as his relatives are thankful for the support of their community to allow him to have a service dog as his companion.

I am amazed that a family was able to raise a lot of money in two weeks by baking cookies and selling them to the public so their son could have a service dog.
