So the 2000s Were “Old Music”? (Part 2)

Just a few minutes ago I posted a discussion about how some kids think “old music” is something that came out after Kurt Cobain died. Just to remind everyone, this is lighthearted and not an insult aimed at people who have that mindset. It’s just perspective.
So, if Blink 182 is “old,” what does that make Elton John? (Really old, to answer the question. ) Sir Elton is played daily on a number of radio stations. And the song linked below came out in 1970.
That makes it FIFTY YEARS OLD.
Along with the 1980 songs, I’ll be counting down favorites from 1970, most of which are still heard on radio stations today.
The point of all of this (other than the humor, especially for all us old folks)? Music isn’t milk. It has no expiration date.

I personally feel that Elton is in that extremely rare group of individuals who have something for everybody in their discography. The only others I think fit are Elvis, Sinatra, and the Beatles.
