I was up right after 5:00 A.M. Put a load of laundry in the washing machine at 5:30. My first coffee worked to get me going. I love that. Sunny here again, but a lot cooler this morning which is a blessing after all those hot days . Welcome to August and hope that you will have a good one!

I woke up early this morning too, in a bright and cheerful mood. The first cup of coffee made me feel even better. I've been in a cooking mood today, so I'm making some breakfast potatoes, rice, lentils, more potato salad, and got some beef stew going in the crockpot. I've just been in that kind of mood today!

Thank you and I am thrilled to see August the weather should start calming down a bit in terms of being cooler after the middle of the month. The humidity will be lower too, unless we get a hurricane or tropical storm.

Is it the same every year? Here, usually August is terrible and July not so bad. But this year July was very, very bad, so we will see what August is going to do,
