My experiment turned out exactly as I predicted!

As I told you on July 31st. I fell and hurt myself more then I thought. Not too bad but my right shoulder (the one I had replaced a few years ago) was hurting when I moved my arm, so I ended up going to the ER saturday night. They took an X-ray and thankfully I didn't break anything, but the doctor put me in a brace and arm sling to keep me from moving it too much.
Now on to my experiment, every time I do the dishes my daughter comes up and tells me "I was gonna do them". So I figured I'll see how long it takes her to do them, but after 2 days and both sinks full plus the pans on the stove I got tired of looking at them. So this morning I took my sling and the brace off and did them. Needless to say while I was in the middle of doing them she comes in and guess what she says. Yup you're right she actually said again "I was going to do them Mom" I said well I got tired of looking at them, she didn't say anything just walked away.
Now I am going to sit in my recliner and rest then later I will be getting ready to do my notifications and read your stuff as much as I can. Have a great day.
Photo is german scenery from my nephew with his permission

Tell her that’s wonderful. I’ll go sit down and let you do them.

Yeah, it's also my usual ending when it comes to washing the dishes.

At school our classrooms have sinks. Many teachers eat their lunches in rooms. Some students need extra meals, etc. One of the things I did not care for about one of the two teachers I worked with was she dirtied the dishes, ate all the time, and never cleaned up.Some of the other paras did, but I would not. In the other classroom the man would finish his food, get up, wash the dishes, dry them and pack them back in his lunch bag. I admit to having dirty dishes here, but I wash them once or twice a day. I thought maybe you were going to say the hot water from the dishes made your arm feel better.

Sorry to hear that you hurt your arm and need to be in a sling. It's a shame you had to do all those dishes

How about a slight hint to her like "Are you going to do the dishes tonight or should I take my sling and brace off?"
