Big families? Blended families? C-sections?

How many kids do you have? I’ve had two and my husband had two prior so we’re a family with four kids. I always wanted more kids but I’ve had two c-sections so they don’t suggest a natural delivery afterwards. Thoughts? Has anyone had a natural delivery after having a c-section? Also, what are the age gaps between your kids? Mine are exactly 2 years apart (the second baby came at 34 weeks)

My wife came from a family of five but we have only had one. For some reason the idea of having a second never came up in the conversation, so we didn't.

I have 5 kids ,all of mine were c-section. They were going to let me try a v-back with my second but we had to have an emergency c-section because she was in distress , her cord was knotted. All of the others were c-section.

@rachelennia It wasn't that much worse than the others . It just took a little longer to heal than the others

Wow! That’s amazing to hear. And how did you recover from the 4th and 5th? Most say 3 at best.

I think I enjoy the idea of a big family because I grew up an only child with no cousins or other family. However, raising them is another story hahahaha. I have two toddlers.

Yep. That’s why I hope to be able to deliver naturally but the doctor I had said it’s possible my bones are too small for baby to fit through.
