Some other things has been giving me this headache in this pandemic. As I am very fortunate that I am able to still receive income, during the covid pandemic our electric bills have increased. I know some of the people here living in the Philippines can relate and i know there has been so many complaints. I am still waiting for their rebate because it is a huge increase and I can see the difference of the past bills. Did you experience this in your household?

I’m in the US my electric bill I don’t think it went up in but I could be wrong. For my area the electric bills don’t need to be paid till October most people have that extension

I think we have that. Because of covid, they offer installments for stretchable payments.

There are different reason behind India's bill to be higher as compared to usual one.
1) They didn't do meter checking for 3 months and did charge us on basis of avg of past 3 months. 4th month my bill was just doubled as their calculation never matched for us.
2) We all people at home and no one is leaving house at all. So all rooms are occupied.
3) Many are working from home hence they will keep their mobile, and laptop on 24/7 as they used to use it in office and use other electric stuffs too!
