Is anyone familiar with essential oils? Or natural remedies for general good health? My husband gets a lot of colds so we use eucalyptus, peppermint, ginger. For myself I like lavender as it calms me. Tell me some things you guys use or eat that you feel helps your health.

How do you use essential oils for colds. I drink turmeric tea as a detox.

Well eucalyptus applied to the temples and under the nose will clear sinuses and a stuffy nose. If it’s for babies, it can be applied to the bottom of their feet. It also is known to reduce fevers and fight viruses. In addition, tea tree oil fights any bacteria and infections. And yes, chamomile and thyme can be used as well! Chamomile relives general cold symptoms and thyme helps to fight any respiratory issues.

Get the heat of an early sunrise until 8am. It has the best time vitamins of the sun. Let yourself sweat so the toxins will sweat out of your body. Just do it everyday. If your in a beach, just feel the breeze of the ocean,or take a litlle swim often in a week. Another thing with the boiled turmeric, get a blanket and pour the boiled turmeric on a large bowl cover it by the blanket together with your head facing the bowl. Let the steam surround you and inhale the heat for a minute or until you can handle the heat, later on you will be relieved.
