Busy Day & What I'm Thankful for Today, August 7

It's time for me to get off the computer, not because I want to, or I have the notifications finished, but my right eye is letting me know I've been here long enough.
I have so much to be thankful for.
I'm thankful for color. With my cataract surgery a huge success, the colors are so much brighter and vivid than they were before. There's beauty all around me. I only need to see it.
I'm thankful for the help my son has been to me through this whole week and in the foreseeable future. It's going to be a while before I drive again and I really don't want to be pulled over for not wearing glasses. Besides, my eyes aren't ready to get behind the wheel yet. My son took me to my followup appointment this morning and then grocery shopping. He is a true blessing to me.
I'm thankful I have all my steps for the day and soon I'll have all the hourly ones too. I don't know how many steps I have as it's hard to read my Fitbit. I'll be happy when my eyes have cleared up completely so I can read it and labels. Otherwise, I can read most things now without squinting.
I'm so thankful for my eyesight. You never know what a blessing sight is until it starts going dim or you lose it altogether.
That's my day and my blessings. What are you thankful for today? I will return tomorrow to work on the notifications. It's going to take a while unless I can get through them faster tomorrow. It will all depend on my eyes.
Thank you for reading. The image belongs to me.

Hi Valerie!
Congratulations on your successful eye surgery!
I also work with computers every day, and sometimes my eyes are strained and tired, I think I need some rest

Glad things are going so well with your eyes. Something for me to look forward to hopefully in a couple of months. It would be nice to not to have to wear glasses which has been a part of me since the second time I was in third grade when it was discovered a part if my problem was I couldnt see the blackboard clearly.

Thank you. I hope you can get it done soon.
It's different not wearing glasses right now. I keep looking for them to put them on and realize I don't have them for now.
