Corn from the nearby farm

The farmer who planted the corn in the open field here harvested the corn and sent me 14 pieces. I had to boil it at once to avail of the freshness. Newly harvested white corn is always sweet. I hope the kernels are tender so it will be delight to eat with butter.

Boiled corn for 15 minutes, it would be tender and easy to eat.

Over the yellow I always prefer the white. Yes, it is good and sweet because it was harvested within the day.

@Alexandoy I have never heard the term "harmonica" used to describe eating corn. But it's pretty much the same as "typewriter." Either way...it's fun to eat it that way.

That is great, someone gave me corn last week, that they were given, they were given a whole bunch. I usually wrap in foil and put in over and it taste really good. I used to boil it, sometimes put it in steamer, but on a cold day the oven works best for me. Enjoy

Here we have bi-color corn (yellow and white in one). Super sweet. Sometimes I find ones that are totally white but not often. Usually it's just yellow. Why did you boil it all right away? It doesn't go bad quickly.
