A horrific plane accident in Calicut airport of Kerala

yesterday night I was watching the usual news channel and then suddenly the channel flashed a horrific scene of a plane crash. Both the pilot and around 17 passengers are dead. Over 100 passengers are injured.

These guys did not give me refund for a flight cancelled due to covid.

I think you may be able to book another ticket with the paid money although you may not get a refund.

@piyushbhatia1 it's not ths pilot's mistake but bad weather. Sure the government will pay compensation.

the plane coming from Dubai skidded off the runway. The airport is on top of a hill and so the plane nose dived onto a valley 30 feet below after it overshot the runway.

Very bad news indeed to top the already bad news of coronavirus pandemic. The plane skidded off the runway and fell into a gorge 35 feet deep braking the plane into 2 pieces. Pilot appears to have misjudged the length of runway due to rains.

@jayanth_77 The fact is the plane overshot the runway. The mistake is of human or machine, the facts will come out shortly. No point in discussing on that.

it's not the Pilot's mistake. He was an experienced pilot who was an ex air force fighter jet pilot. There was too much water on the runway and the runway was small.
