My dear neighbor returned from his trip a couple of days ago. He called and said he had some ripe tomatoes to share. I told him he could leave them on the porch.
And I reminded him to stay in his 14-day quarantine.
He was around crowds of people and went on a deep sea fishing trip. In the middle of the hurricane along the North and South Carolina border. He said they were safe with only some rough waters.
Being 80 years old, I worry about him. He says, oh I'm fine. But I will social distance until his 14 days are up. And hope he will be fine.
And I will enjoy the tomatoes. They had a nice long bath in my kitchen sink all morning.

@CarolDM We usually start getting fresh tomatoes about the middle of August. By the first of September, we have more fresh produce than we can handle! So I end up freezing some things, for the winter.

@CarolDM Definitely better than anything you can buy in a grocery store.

Those tomatoes are beautiful! Ours are kind of ugly, but they're delicious. Hope your neighbor stays well.

The tomatoes look yummy! They'll be so good compared to store-bought ones. It's nice of your neighbor to keep you in tomatoes! I hope he doesn't come down with the virus. Have a great day.

I hope you enjoy your tomatoes Carol. I wonder does your friend neighbor feel any symptoms of covid so he has to quarantine, or is it a just in case quarantine situation?
