Butter is an essential part in our dishes in India and in most of the dishes we add butter or Desi Ghee and it does taste really good and in a way increase the taste. You name any dish and you can add butter into it and there is one non veg dish I know which is popular with butter it's butter chicken and very tasty black lentil soup which is called Dal Makhni in local language where Dal means lentils and Makhni means butter. Do you like to add butter into your dishes?

Depending on the meal I am having. For instance i like spreading butter on my toast, bread, etc. But I am currently trying not to use it cause I am trying to eat better and healthier!

I don’t add butter into every meal I made but yes some do. It’s not really adding butter to the dish more like making sure the food doesn’t stick which is pork chops. Some times baked chicken I’ll use butter as well it helps with sticking not so much flavored. I like adding butter to potatoes and certain veggies.

I often have butter chicken when I go to an Indian restaurant. Most Indian dishes are too hot for me.
