Do you skip dinner often?

I know there are people who skip dinner especially those who are on a diet. Today, I am skipping dinner because I am not in the mood to eat. I actually want to skip dinner on a daily basis so as to avoid gaining weight but hunger is the main villain. What about you, do you skip dinner often?

@Janet357 if I'm going to skip a meal it's usually breakfast. Once I have my coffee I'm not always hungry. I try not to skip meals often and will eat lighter meals if I'm not particularly hungry. But dinner is usually my biggest meal which my daughter and I eat together so it's something to look forward to at days end.

Skipping meals is not a good habit, I eat a very light dinner, but I never skip dinner.

@Janet357 Skipping meals can also cause your metabolism to slow down, which can cause weight gain instead of weight loss.

I don't skip dinner but I eat less since I don't work during night. I eat much during lunch because it can burn too easily.

I don't skip dinner, but I often skip breakfast and / or lunch. Well, I eat breakfast more often now, but sometimes I have only some fruit for lunch.

@Janet357 To lose weight? To a certain degree. I am not trying to eat less carbs per meal to see if that helps me. I also plan to do more exercising as the temperature gets cooler.

I don't skip dinner, if I'm not hungry I try to eat at least some fruit or soup

I never skip meals. Causes a headache if I skip a meal. And causes me to over eat the wrong things, and gain weight. Also, if I skipped supper I would not sleep well. Yeah, I eat my supper

By Simone @Janet357 I eat two meals a day. Most of the time I eat breakfast and lunch and not dinner. When I would eat at night it would not agree with me and overate. Now, I have medication I take and am not supposed to eat after take it. I do not miss eating dinner. I just drink when I want something after I finish my last meal of the day.

What happened why you're not in mood to eat? I don't skip dinner.only sometimes if i am still full due to evening snacks.

My husband and I eat 1 main meal a day. Then we eat other things such as yogurt, cottage cheese, nuts, chips, fruit. It works for us.
