Although $5 isn't a very high amount in many places in the world you may not buy many things with it but in developing nations like India and other you can buy few things with it that's why $5 is not very bad for them.
1 dollar is around Rs. 74 let's keep it at Rs. 70 so $5 will be Rs. 350 and in Rs. 350 we can buy 4 bottles of 2 liter cold drink like Coke Rs. 80 per 2 liter bottle and A pack of Chips of Rs. 30.
So it's not bad or you can get Unlimited calls and Internet mobile pack for 56 days of different Mobile Operators.
What Can you Purchase with a $5 Note?

In the sense of food not that much really.
Very good price for a Mobile Pack it would cost you much more than that here. Its a very good deal.

@Butterfingers They were delicious. Of course lots of carbs though. Probably. I don't count them or know how many they have.
