I’m Ready for Fall.

It's Friday, August 14th, 2020, and I'm sitting here with fall (autumn) on the brain. I've been thinking of fall for several weeks now. I'm just over the blistering heat and mosquitos. I mean, I like wearing shorts and flip flops, but I miss my cardigans, hoodies, leggings, jeans and boots. I also bought a denim jacket back in April, and I've only been able to wear it a handful of times because of the weather. I also look forward to wearing hats and cozy socks again.
I also miss the scenery and feeling that comes with the fall season. Walking down the street to the store with the leaves all over the sidewalk and decor on the homes, and a cool breeze. Just thinking about it is relaxing.
I'm also excited for the holidays. I love Halloween and Thanksgiving. We may have to change the way we celebrate Halloween this year, but Thanksgiving isn't going to change much because we really just celebrate here at home. Of course, I also love Christmas, but that's a winter holiday. ;)
It's just the whole atmosphere that comes with fall. It starts here in the United States on Sept. 22nd, but I cannot wait until it actually looks and feels like fall.
Do you enjoy fall (autumn)?

I love autumn! I love the cool and crisp weather, but prefer sunny days. Love your photo! Bring on autumn!

As I have grown up, I miss the days of laying out in my family's yard. Now, I just cannot handle the heat as much. So, yes and no.

We've always had concrete so I've never really laid in the yard, but I have at the park. I'll do that when it's warmer, but not when it feels like the triple digits. I don't care for the heat.
But where I live, autumn is usually cooler, like the 50-60s. Sometimes 70 degrees, but again, still usually cooler.

@tammys85 No, I don't. The geese are honking, so they're starting to move to their winter home down south. I even saw the squirrels tails are bushier than they have been, so they're also filling out for a cold winter. Exciting days to come. It won't be long now.

I'm still wearing leggings, lol. It's mostly all I wear now. Thankfully we haven't had any mosquito bites so far this summer. And definitely can't wait to see fall.

I still wear them too, but it's warmer in our house (a/c still works but there's a slight issue with it, long story), so I'm mostly wearing shorts. I hate that I cannot always feel the mosquitos on me, so I can't smack them away before they bite me.

@Courtlynn I think we'll just need to get a bigger one is all. Thank you!

@Michellekidwell Same for sure. I'm sick of the triple-digit temperatures.

yes autumn season is a beautiful season just after the rains and before winter in India from September to November. Plant shed their leaves and the whole surrounding looks so beautiful.
