I recently watched a movie on hulu called The Heart Of Christmas and I would definitely recommend it. I think it's different than a typical christmas movie because it's not focused on Christmas. It's based on a true story of a young boy and his family named Dax Locke. It has the actress who played DJ on full house and her and her family aren't as close and are having a few issues when she goes to drop her daughter off at a friends house during Halloween she asks why they're decorating for Christmas and a neighbor tells her to go read Dax's mother's blog. The movie then follows Dax and his family through their journey at ST. Judes hospital where you will meet 2 other patients that have cancer and you will see there struggle through his illness. It shows how much others can go through and make you think about your problems compared to theirs. It gets emotional seeing how kids and families have to struggle through health and how much little things mean to them. It's a very emotional story that can bring out the spirit of Christmas of helping and being there for others and how it's not about presents. If you have Hulu i would suggest watching it for sure.
