As a child of the 80's I remembered watching a show with my grandmothers and could not for the life of me remember the name of it. Google to the rescue! I typed in a very vague description of what I remembered of the show and BOOM! it appeared: It's A Living!
Yay, I found it! To my surprise, LOGO TV airs marathons of the show nightly. So, I record on my virtual DVR on Philo (A streaming service that offers live TV and and a cloud DVR for $20 - I said goodbye to cable!) and have been binging it nightly. I might watch a show or two on ID (another obsession of mine) and then put on "It's a Living" for a lighter end to my evening. I'm surprised at how many things that were ok to do and say on 1980's TV are definitely taboo now. There was an entire episode making fun of a weight loss group comprised of heavier individuals, and another episode shamed a kid for being overweight. Plus, sexism was alive and well in the 1980s. That being said, it is very nostalgic to me. I am on season 3 and I can't wait to get through the whole series. It reminds me of quality time spent with my grandmothers when I was a kid. I miss those day. I'm glad the world has progressed since then.

I haven't heard of that show. Certainly you can find just about anything by googling.
