Why So Many Users Leave Mylot?

I was checking the most recent activity tab and from there I saw few users so I thought why not check their discussions and from there I found many users that were not here or not posted since almost 3 years but how come users join here, love the website, stay here for long enough and then disappear completely and not even a hello or hi from such a long time.
Are you aware why so many users leave the website after they used to be very active earlier on?

All of this is because you are mean! You did not invite then for a cup of tea and Parle G biscuits to your home!
And you expected them to stay on!

There are still members who are more than 10 years on mylot. Such loyality you don't find in other paying sites.

@Butterfingers I know I was away once for 2 years. I used to be on mylot all the day and I got burned out. I had to take some time away.

@Butterfingers I think that nowhere you can make money doing nothing... well, may be, in politics.

Some stay a very short time only I think maybe because the site doesn't live up to their expectations. Some expect to earn money immediately but that doesn't generally happen. You need to be here for a while before you build up a following.

I think some are just having a break. Like me... There are times that I rest on Mylot for months or a couple of months but I keep coming back since this is really a very friendly site...

That's a good option but as you said you come back after months and they never returned

Funny you ask that question because I was planning to take a good break from Mylot soon after I reach my minimum cash out, which I will, in a day or two but now I'm having second thoughts about it. Got to see what my heart says at that time.

1 or 2 days or month is fine but many users haven't been back since years

@Butterfingers I think for them it all started with a few days and then months, which then turned into years. It's just a matter of losing the habit.

I am scanning my followers and I have removed from my list because some are not active anymore.

I think at the end of the day some people just simply move on. Others take little hiatuses. If I disappeared from here completely one day I am not sure I would write a goodbye post. Maybe I would. But ultimately I am not sure I would see it as 'extremely important.'

@Butterfingers Maybe so. And some might. Most will not. And like I said, I am not sure I would either.
