I have been here for awhile now and I can say that I am overwhelmed with the amount of notification I got yesterday. I tried to be very active - very active compared to the previous days and months. This is the first time I am cleaning up more than 100 notifications. They are combination of mention, comments and likes.
I think I am going to be very active here again. But today was a busy day at work. I am not yet done with the notifications. I will finish this tomorrow. Off to bed.

You can have many notifications for the same thing. Like if someone replies to your response and then tags you in it and also hits "like" you will probably get three different notifications but they will be for the same thing, so technically you will only have to deal with one.

So if 33 people does that in all of their reply, I will get 99 notifications but I have to deal with 33 out of the 99.

@jobelbojel I would think so. Unless it groups stuff together... Like it can say, for example, Person A, person B, and 12 others responded to your discussion. I don't remember if each person's response is a separate notification.

@jobelbojel You can also adjust your settings to have less notifications. You can choose not to get notified when someone "likes" what you post, for example.

Yesterday was the first time in about five months that I went outside our town because of an essential errand.
Afterwards, it felt like some of my fears are gone.
It's good you had cleaned your notifications. I don't get that much anymore.

In five months you did not go outside the town? I can feel you. Good thing here, I can go to the mall for grocery anytime I want because it is just across the street.

I dont see the likes in my notifications. Makes it easier to go through them. But very exciting to see a high number

I think, like Linda, you disabled that notification. I don't and I won't disable for now. Because I can see who liked my comments. Others would do that. If I commented on your discussion, for example, one or two people hit the like for me.

I turned off the "like" notifications under settings; and I have many less to take care of. Have a nice Wednesday.

I have not turn off that Notification. If someone liked my comments I can see them.
