I am lazy

After work, in the evening, I do not want to do much of anything. We snacked and ate. I have made a salad for tomorrow for lunch. It has been six months about, since I have worked.I will get used to it again. At work we have been working on schedules, and preparing bulletin boards, and removing excess furniture. The room looks bright and cheery. Not all rooms have outside windows but ours does and it really helps with attitude. Monday our teacher asked us to please try to always have positive attitudes and express positive thoughts even when we correct our kids or their work. This kind of personality and leadership is a good thing because our students often have a low sense of self worth. Although I will be working with more than one student, but will focus on building a relationship and connection with one fourth grader in particular. I am looking forward to this year.

The last thing I'd call you is lazy! And you so right about kid's self- worth.

I tend to compare myself to others who seem to get a lot more done.

I wish you luck with the coming year. It takes a special person to do the job you do.

One way to get happy is to have a goal of serving another person.

You always had a good working relationship with your students. It's great that you have windows. I always kept mine open for air circulation and now it's especially important. If I still had a career in teaching, I wouldn't have the time or energy to myLot until weekends.

It makes so much difference to have a good leader. I went into a shop yesterday and half the shelving has been removed. The shop is much more open but heaven knows where they have put the rest of the stock.

That would cause me to wonder. What if you needed something that has meanwhile disappeared?

@GardenGerty I guess if you asked for a specific item, they might be able to find it in the warehouse. Otherwise they would miss out on a sale.

Yes, the kids have enough negative in their life without us adding to it.
