Finally (using that word a lot today) got around to today's project...

Collage I made with the photos of the rocks I painted this evening.

I didn't think that I'd be able to today, between all the phone calls and the surprise shopping trip and the heat, but I did: today's project. Today's project was "Rock Painting". *I painted a body, head, and antennae on the butterfly rock I was doing. *Put Mod Podge on the three rocks that are done being painted and have their message on the back. *Tried painting a sun on one rock, but goofed up and used way too much red, so I will have to do that one again. *Squeezed out too much paint for the "sun", so I got out another rock and dabbled red, then yellow, then red...etc. on it. Not 100% sure what I'll wind up doing with it. So, glad I was able to do that. Now, I am going to go in the living room and "zone out" until it's time to go to bed !

Nice to know that you do rock painting. It must be a difficult art.

Thank you--I've met people who are much more talented at it than me, but I find it enjoyable.
