I wish I was at the beach

Gotta hate when you wake up and realize that the beach vacation you dreamed about didn't actually happen. Though I suppose it's a good thing that I split - non - split (weird, but I'll explain in a moment) with this really nice man.
I mean ,there were parts of the dream where the things going on outweighed the beautiful scenery. Like these games we were having to try to avoid on the beach. It was some sort of radio contest thing where people had to do certain things. My friends wanted to join, but I was feeling extra antisocial.
Then it was weird when I back to the place we were staying only to have to take a shower in an outdoor shower. We all had to, but we also all had only twenty minutes between us to wash of all the sand and grit before my friend's cousin's husband woke up and got to see us all naked... Yeah, but that wasn't the oddest part.
The oddest part was the fact that the little girl ran outside and joined me in the shower. That was kind of cute, but I was trying to wash up and terrified that her dad would come looking for her.
*In the dream, I was split from a guy, but not really. Like, we decided not to date, but we were still seeing each other exclusively. It makes no sense to me either

I had a weird dream too. I dreamed that a bear was in here and all I was thinking was how to get the bear outside without letting out Lily (my cat). Then the dream changed and I was in a house with my mother, She had been dating a black guy and had a kid with him (impossible in real life because she is near 60) and the black guy shoots the kid and then blackmails my mother. I told her that she needed to call the police, but she wouldn't. Then a woman walked into a room and I was telling her about it. But she was doing a latch hook rug. I told her that I had one but not with me. I told her that my mother gave it to me (which in real life is not true. Chris' mother gave the latch hook rug kit.) Then I woke up.

@JESSY3236 Ah, maybe she chomped on something that made her sick? A friend of mine lets one of her cats out as long as she's near the cat. All he does is plop down on the bit of pavement she has and starts to chomp at the grass.

What an odd dream. Have you been thinking about working on the latch hook kit lately? The bear is odd too, were you scared that the bear was inside or was it more of an annoyance?

@ScribbledAdNauseum yeah I had been thinking about my latch hook rug kit lately. I wasn't scared of the bear. I was more scared about letting out Lily. In real life, she is not allowed outside right now. She was sick on Monday and my mother said it's best to keep her inside until I go to mailbox.

@gr8nana6 Nor am I. My fan was on, and maybe my subconscious took the noise from the fan and turned it into waves at the beach. I've had dreams that I was driving and ended up in a river, only to wake up from torrential downpours.

It was very strange. I hated the games that were being played on the beach as most of the good spots were taken up by lots of people trying to win prizes. It was too loud.

I feel the same way. I think we all have some pretty weird dreams, like our subconscious can't handle so much information load and processes it in strange ways.

@sophie09 Hiking isn't the only thing to do. Here we can also go floating down the rivers, or gem mining.
