The Clothes drying routine

Cometh the Monsoon season. The rains bring relief from hot and humid weather or sometimes from the dry heat.
Yet when it rains a lot, a problem starts.
The washed clothes do not dry as fast as they do in summer season or in the dry autumn time.
So one has to often take the help of fans. One needs to have fan on in one room with clothes on a stand that helps many to dry.
Or one needs to be agile and try to get some clothes dried if any of the days has good sunshine. Yet that is sometimes not feasible if we have lots of other work that day.

Washing machines with an inbuilt dryer is not a norm in India. I do have a setting in the washing machine for extra rinsing. I use it on days when it has rained a lot or in winters, as this option uses more water and time.
There have been some commercial machines available in the last few years that have an inbuilt dryers.
However, they are quite costly, but the prices could drop in the coming years.
So the cloth drying routine would continue for years to come.

Yes the fan helps a lot. And at times, we also use it during the winters, although we do not sit under a fan, especially during the extreme winters.

I have not checked if we have separate dryers available here, and even if they are, they would be expensive.

Hawaii must be getting lots of sunshine so that would be good for the clothes.

We also have such arrangements but we use it to hang dry clothes that we want to wear again like trousers or Jeans, as well as Jackets in the winters.

Luckily in my part of Australia the sun dries our clothes. It's a bit more problematic in winter but I have a drier if I need it. If I can get them partly dry outside, I can put them on an airer in front of the fire at night and by morning they are mostly dry.

Here it is still far. But the moisture during the rainy season does not allow them to dry.

In rainy season, and when we get less sunshine, it can take more time to dry them.
