Pistachio

Pistachio is my favorite nut.It is not common in the Philippines though. A kilo of it may cost you $20 or more.
My aunt usually sent me a bag of pistachio. Cracking the nuts is a challenge. That's why I use hammer for that. I also notice that when I eat a lot of it, I get pimples.
Pistachio is very common in middle east that is why it is cheaper there.
How much is pistachio in your country?

yes Pistachio have a hard shell and are dry fruits . Used as toppings on sweets.

@Janet357 yes I like them. But they taste similar to ground nut. you need to eat a hand full to get some real taste . Cashew nuts are better option.

I have been given some, but I have never bought any so I do not know how much they cost. I get the ones that are already salted and the shells are partway opened.
