Happy Thursday everyone! Another day to be happy as I am alive. Another day is a blessing for me.
This afternoon, I have to go to the city to buy a gift for my friend. She will have her birthday on Saturday and I don't know yet what gift I can buy for her. I will roam around the shops again until I found something for her.
I told her I will bring a cake on her birthday but I still don't know which one. It is still hot here so I am still avoiding using the oven. I think I will make a no bake cake for her. I hope she will not read this post so she will not know what cake I will bring. That is a surprise.
The cake in the photo was a moist chocolate cake I brought to the Netherlands a week ago. I only decorated it there in my sis house but I forgot to bring my chocolate for the icing and so I just used the Ovaltine chocolate of my sister. My first time doing icing with Ovaltine chocolate. It tasted good and not so sweet.
Anyway, I will just come here when I come back from the city. Have a nice day and thanks for reading.

I have heard of no bake cookies, but never no bake cakes! May I have your recipe?

I think you have @Alexandoy. A mango float is a no-bake cake.. That is if you have eaten a mango float which is very popular in the Philippines.

Yes, it is a cake transporter @hereandthere
I am glad about that, too.
I love Ovaltine just the way it is, without hot water.
Thank you.

@hereandthere I just blend the cold double cream until creamy, added the sieved powder sugar and added Ovaltine. Blend them well until it was good for making the icing on the cake.

Thank you @GardenGerty. The Ovaltine icing was really delicious and it was not so sweet at all. Have you tried drinking Ovaltine before?

Your cake looks absolutely beautiful and I'm sure it was delicious. Using Ovaltine was a good idea (I never would have thought of that).
I'm sure you'll find the perfect gift for your friend and I'm sure she'll love whatever kind of cake you make for her.

Yes, it was delicious. I had no other choice at that time as no chocolate in my sisters´house only Ovaltine. I should say that it was really good for making icing. I have bought a present for her already this afternoon. I think she will like it. Thank you @Marilynda1225
