Hydrangea Did Not Bloom This Year

Was out walking in the yard earlier this morning after coffee. Snapped a photo of my Hydrangea bush. It grows about six feet tall every year.
And usually it has big blue clusters of blooms. Nothing this year except green leaves.
I have always been told the soil makes the difference in the blooms. Maybe next year the blooms will return.
Either way, the leaves are nice and green. Taking the good with the not so good in life. Have a good day everyone.

Some apple trees are the exact same way. One year, my brother's trees give wonderful apples. The next year, he doesn't get even one.

@CarolDM And Bill has no explanation, except that some years the apples aren't available!

@CarolDM Weird. Check that the soil is acid as the plant likes.

It's still a gorgeous plant. Maybe next year it will have huge blossoms. Have a wonderful Friday.

Maybe it wasn't it season to bloom! Let's hope next year we can see how it blooms! Nice picture as usual!

I guess sometimes nature needs a break too for the year, hopefully the bloom will be magical next year!

I like those flowering plants because it is so appealing whenever the flower blooms
