Happy Friday Everyone!! it's a nice day this morning but not quite as nice as yesterday. The sky is a bit cloudy and overcast in some parts but overall it looks like it's going to be a nice day. Would you believe I'm going out today?? yup! Both of my daughters aren't working today so we're going to go to Michaels (for a curbside pickup) and then picking up something for lunch and coming back here to enjoy the afternoon together. This is my first curbside pickup at Michaels but my oldest daughter has done it many times and says it's a breeze. I have a coupon for 20% off an entire purchase so it's hard to pass up a discount like that. I guess we'll decide on what to have for lunch while we're out. I'm still not ready to eat at a restaurant and it's too hot for me to enjoy a meal dining outside. Anyway, that's what my day is looking like. I'm happy to have somewhere to go and something to do. What's on your fun agenda for today (and/or the weekend)?

It sounds like you have a really happy and fun day ahead, that is wonderful. I am not ready to eat in a restaurant either, but they only have patio service here anyways, so that is a good thing. Come the cooler weather I imagine that will have to come to an end and we will either be cooking and eating at home or perhaps ordering in. Time will tell. I ran out and did an early (8am) grocery run so that I could be back for my telephone doctor's appointment. He is always behind when I see him in the office (he's a bit long winded) and the phone appointments are the same. But he is worth the wait.

@marlina I am making progress, anything long lasting takes a long time. I began to lose weight a year ago, and he is pleased with how far I've come. Personally I have a goal that I will hit in another few months.

I had a fun day with my daughters. Was a great mood lifter plus I spent money and got some pretty yarn. I have my first telephone doctor appointment on Monday. I haven't seen the doctor since the beginning of the year so I'm sure he's going to want bloodwork done.

Lucky you! I would love to go out too, unfortunately my area is still in lockdown so I have to still be indoor. Sometimes I feel like getting crazy, later on I calm myself down because I cannot let this get me.

Stay calm and stay safe. I enjoyed my time out but we didn't get out of the car. We had lunch home
