A beautiful soul has gone to heaven

We just heard that a women our son dated for a while has died of breast cancer.
They were close to getting married, but it just didn't work out. They each had a teenage son the same age, but one family would have had to sell their home and that's hard for teenagers. I'm sure there were other factors, also.
But we loved her...she was the kind of person who could always make you laugh. She had Christmas dinner with us that year and it felt like we had known her forever.
I'm glad her son has loving people in his life. She was one of those people who are beautiful inside and out. She was half Vietnamese with those big dark eyes and long black hair, but she was never full of herself.
Most of all I'm so thankful she was a believer in Jesus Christ and I know we'll see her again. I bet she's already got someone laughing up there.

I'm sure she's in a better place now and the Lord would provide for the children of His faithful servants, may she rest in eternal peace

I am so sorry for your loss and I agree that it is a comfort to know that people we loved will be met again on the other side.

I know you understand the heart break. Something that occurred to me was if she and our son had married, this would have been the second mother Nathan lost. But my heart just cries for her son. I'm so glad he has loving family to live with.

It's sad to learn that someone you know already passed. But it's better for her since she doesn't have to suffer anymore.

I appreciate that, Carol. I'm glad her son has an older sister and close grandparents, but no one can replace his mother.

It really is so sad. She had hoped to make it to see her son graduate high school, but he's just starting his senior year. I don't know if he'll live with his grandparents or older sister or?
