A Good Day

I sat in my swing this afternoon after walking at the park. I wrote a poem while it was freshly on my mind and intended to submit it here but decided no, we’re all thinking about the covid and don’t need any reminders . We need to keep our minds busy with something other than sickness. So I have cooked pies instead. I cooked an apple pie with artificial sugar since Leo is diabetic. I also made a chocolate and a lemon pie. They were hardly set until Leo asked for a piece of apple pie. I had to have a sample too and it tasted pretty good. I hope you all had a good day.. The trail at the park was shady and only three or four People in the park. I saw nobody on the trail and I Really enjoyed my walk.

I enjoyed my day visiting my doctor today and getting in the mail my print cartridge in the mail today.

Oh yes, I was completely out of ink and ordered one from staples. They emailed it would be a few days before shipping so I ordered one from Walmart and they sent it right out.

yes, I love walking. It was a little cooler today so that made it even better. We had a piece of apple pie and it taste pretty good.

We like pies and I Usually have a couple in the fridge. I don’t know which is my favorite. Either lemon or cherry.

Because of how hot and sunny it is here in Florida today, I have pretty much just stayed inside all day long enjoying my nice cool AC. I wish it wasn't so humid out, because then I could at least enjoy my morning walks and/or evening runs.

@moffittjc We visited down there a few times and I thought I knew what hot was living in Georgia but I didn’t have a clue. It actually does feel like sticking your head I the oven.
