Greetings from the road! Before I head out to see some beauty I’ll give you a different type of beauty: music. Here’s another song from 1980 that you probably still hear today. #7: Train in Vain (Stand By Me) - The Clash A song that was such a “sudden addition” to the album that it wasn’t even listed on the album credits! And it became the first “mainstream” hit for a punk band. Way back when this came out I had to go “off base” to buy this album, because the Navy Exchange had a “rule” about not carrying “subversive” music in stock. Now? I guess you can probably buy “Cop Killer” there. Anyway, enjoy one of the great classic tunes from one of the great classic bands in punk....or just any kind of music.
