No Time For Lunch!!

I work as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) now but a few years ago I was working as a waitress at Denny's. I have worked as a food server for 23 years. I loved my job and I feel I was good at my job. I made people happy and gave them great service. So while working as a waitress, the days could be pretty long and tedious. Not much time to get off your feet and eat. So when I got my breaks I would often eat something simple like soup. Which in my opinion the soup was delicious. I ate only soup because it was light and didn't weigh me down. Gave me enough energy to finish my shift and get home to eat something more for dinner. I really enjoyed the soup at my Denny's store and it never disappointed me, but I still really looked forward to eating a more bountiful meal for dinner So what do you like to eat on your break from work? A sandwich, soup or something else?

I’m a Freelance author, so I’m self employed, when I’m working on my novels, I like lighter meals, but try to cook a filling, nutritious meal...

@Michellekidwell Me too, I think I'm the only one in the family that really likes salads. Sometimes I rather have salad than anything else.

@djbrat13 I try to eat properly but it doesn’t always happen, I love fresh produce though, so that’s a plus...

Didn't it make you super hungry and make you long for dinner?

Actually it didn't make me extra hungry. In fact when I did finally sit down to eat I didn't eat that much. I know it's weird but true.
