From 13 to 15 cigarettes per day to 9 to 11 cigarettes per day.

Earlier I made a discussion about how this site helps me to reduce smoking and now I'm going to tell things that I've done to make lessen it! Before I start using this site when I have free time I spent it on smoking and that is the reason why I'm smoking at least 13 to 15 and sometimes 16. Nowadays I only smoke before I start my job, break time, and after work. Two - Three cigarettes in the morning (after breakfast and before I start my job), Four break times, and One after my work. At least Two or Three before I go to sleep. Putting delays is very important, before if I have an hour break time. I was able to smoke at least 2 cigarettes. Now if I have an hour break I'm smoking before my break time ends. After work, I'm putting at least 1 to 2 hours delay before taking another cigarette and because of this step, I was able to lessen it. What are the things that I do to put delay? Making myself busy, doing mylot stuff, listening to music, eating, or any other kinds of stuff that makes me busy. However, I spare most of my time here instead of smoking. If I'm not here then I'm very busy doing other things. I'll keep on doing this until I'll be free from a cigarette. Thank you mylot.

Now try to reduce the intake by smoking half of it instead of having it full

@Timex123 don't think about the waste. Think about the damage the full is doing to you. And then you won't think about the waste

@amitkokiladitya You're right, however, do you think it will help when I only smoke half of it? Or maybe I can light the other half again when I'm going to smoke again?

I'm doing that as well however I feel that I'm wasting it for not smoking full, but I've been doing that a few months ago since I really want to quit. A month ago I've made a final decision to reduce it

That is a great improvement, well done! I think you have caught the essence of how to delay and smoke less, as it is to ensure you are busy doing other things and thus removing your focus from wanting a smoke. If you still want to decrease your smoking further, maybe even to the stage where you could quit, then maybe try halfing the smokes you do when you smoke, that would put another limitation to the amount you would smoke during a day.

@Timex123 How come you consider it wasting money? I assume you could just "kill" it and keep the remainding part of the unfinished smoke?

@Downwindz I just felt that because I bought it in the pack and it cost me around $2 to $3.

@Downwindz Per pack here is cheaper than buying it by per piece and for me to save money I decided to buy per pack. How much is it in Europe?

I hope it works for you. I tried several ways before I got rid of it with Chantix.

Thank you! I'm hoping as well. I really want to save more money because I calculate how much I spend smoking every month and how much I can save if I don't smoke.

@Sojourn Indeed! Even just small things. It is why I keep on extending my delays for every smoke until I no longer smoke
