Prayers and best wishes if you are in the path or your loved ones are. We will likely have some effects from this storm, but probably only some rain and some mildly gusty breezes. The only thing it will likely ruin here is my Saturday lunch plans, but hopefully we can go out in the evening instead. This restaurant used to have a Sunday brunch, but not now of course! The storm doesn't seem quite as devastating as first predicted, but time will tell of course, and at least it is a fast mover. Will you be safe from Laura?

Since I live in Europe, I will likely not suffer many consequences from Laura. That said I do know a few people in both Louisiana and Texas, so I do pray for those.

I'm up in Illinois so we will be fine but I do have friends that live in Florida..don't know the path of it but I hope all is safe.

I think Florida should be OK . This storm was pretty far west so even the panhandle was probably OK.

@snowy22315 talked to my mom last night and she lives in TN..they were supposed to get rain from Laura but it went right by them.

Pretty much the same here. It has been a bit breezy here today..but orobabky not related to the storm
