I told a fellow myLot user that words have personality and he's so glad about it.
I have come several laconic words or phrases which are dominant and powerful. One of them is "I came, I saw; I conquered" which is the famous statement written by Julius Caesar who made him win the war quickly.
And there's another in the Bible which is the handwriting on the wall - "Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin" which is translated as from Aramic language as "numbered, numbered, weighed, divided."
Do you know some short phrases or statements which means a lot?

Here is one that is apt for me.

I like that phrase. It reflects how strong and optimistic you are. I sympathize with you. Be happy.

My father always told me this one:
Stand up, speak up, then shut up!
He also said to me:
"to be seen, but not heard", when I was a child, and wanting to say something amongst his adult friends.

@Nakitakona Yes, good one. I got into trouble at work once, because the boss's name was Mr Power.
There was a power outage, no power, no electricity. We were all in the dark; computers were down.
I said to the boss,
"Well, your name is Power, why don't you do something about this, power outage?"
He never liked me making fun of his name, and he lorded his power over me, for the rest of my employ, under him.
I made it hard for myself, because I had no power, and he certainly did!

Your father is a witty person. And you get his wisdom for that. Don't you?

@innertalks when you break a glass you'll be sad. But when you break the ice, everybody laughs.
