... where nothing goes right? Up in the morning, step into the shower - find the water's cold? Pick up the green, unleaded nozzle at the gas station, and put several gallons of unleaded into your diesel motor vehicle? Get to the store, put your mask on, wait in line to get into the store, then find you've left your wallet or purse in the car or at home? If you put your weetabix in your tea mug, and your teabag in the cereal bowl - take the hint, go back to bed for the day!

The last is not a big problem, but if you and put several gallons of unleaded into your diesel motor vehicle you throw the car.

@pgntwo My husband told me that even with a little quantity, the diesel fuel will prematurely ignite in the diesel engine, leading to engine damage. Gasoline contamination can also damage the fuel pump and mess up diesel injectors. If he added a lot of gasoline, I think he should find a way to pump out everything.

@LadyDuck They found someone who could pump out the petrol, and I have heard the car is working again... Fortunately, the tank was not empty, so the petrol went I to a 1/4-full diesel tank. And the driver drove about 1 km before stopping to shop en-route, and at that point noticed the engine beginning to splutter... Possibly not much damage, we shall see. I think she took it on a 120km trip today, brave lady. Lucky, if car is operating properly.

Happened to my son's girlfriend yesterday. She has yet to find out the extent of the damage...

I hear that, i am not sure what our leaders are doing but they have not been even trying if ask me. So when the world up rises because it will because people have had enough, I will not be surprised. They say its the pandemic that is making it this way. Actually I am more mad at our dumb leaders for not even trying to grasp what the average person goes through and why Trump does not wear a mask. I richer and better than you fools. Even if does get sick, I have the best doctors to come take care of me, what do you got? Worse person to be running this country in a pandemic and sad to say, While other countries are not listing to us on how to handle a pandemic, they are watching him very closely on the economy and they see its actually working, his fake spiels about best economy the world has ever seen and that Americans are buying iit. We can do that too. Why dictators everywhere are forming, because its working on America too. So small stuff like that makes me mad. I just need one good thing today.

That's what people need: hope. As noted in a book I like to read...

@pgntwo Sometimes, even if false hope! a good leader does not make it to false though.

I need to have coffee first or I might also put cereals in my mug if I do it at the same time.

@pgntwo That's right! Sometimes I feel like having hot chocolate instead but coffee can really do something.

I have mornings where nothing works until the coffee kicks in, too. A glass of fresh orange juice sometimes does the trick, depending on the weather.

Those days thankfully are few and far between! Oops the car that is going to hurt the bank account!

The car, after a syphon and flush, seems to have been given a second lease of life, thankfully. I think driving less than a mile from filling a still 1/4 full tank, and stopping for a McDonald's, is what saved it.

@pgntwo I know what you are saying. I have had many days where things went wrong and wish I never got out of bed in the first place.

Oh that sure doesn't sound like a "fun" day . It's a day where if you go back to bed, you'd hit your shin on the bed first when climbing in .

I hope the "weetabix" tastes better than it looks. (I'd just drink the tea and call it good. ) Oh, you must mean every day life. Isn't that how everyone's day, week, month... etc. goes?

Oh dear, putting unleaded in a diesel car is a definite sign of a bad day.
