Neither. Both are extremely likely to survive. There have been plenty of epidemics before now which have killed many more people than this particular corona virus but we have survived them and have either developed some immunity to them or have learned to control them to an extent. The only diseases to date which have been entirely eliminated are smallpox and rinderpest (a viral disease of cattle).
The common cold rarely kills anyone these days but, when it was introduced to populations which hadn't encountered it before, people did die from it (and many other Western diseases as well, of course).
