Wall Paper or Paint?

My parents are building a new house in a relocation site where we cant be affected anymore of flood and volcano eruption. Which do you prefer putting on your wall and what are your suggestions and experienced on wall paper or paint?

It all depends on the look you want. Our house is painted, but we wanted elegance in the dining room, so that is papered.

The one thing I really don't like about wall paper is the glue used to adhere it to the walls, glue has formaldehyde in it and can invade any indoor space which is very harmful to anyones health.

That is a very personal preference. I prefer a nice freshly painted wall best of all.

I prefer paint but they can have an accent wall where they can use wall paper

I prefer plain wall colors. It all depends on the taste and architectural model that suits the house.
