My New iPhone Macro Lens

Some have asked what I was referring to in my last post about my new lens. The macro lens is actually clipped on my iPhone. I tried explaining and thought I would share a photo. The cool thing about this one is you get a macro lens, a wide angle lens (great for sunsets), a light you can clip on (for selfies which I will never use), a strap to wear the lens around your neck if you choose, a microfiber cloth to keep the lens clean and a leather bag to keep it all in. All of this for less than $30. I went with a Xenvo brand. There are many options and brands you can buy. I chose this one because it had many attachments and a lifetime guarantee. You can see in my photo the lens clips to your phone. And it fits right over my thin clear phone case. Very cool and even though it may look big, it is great once you get used to it. Then just take it off when you are not using it.

I really like this, and seeing it helps make more sense to me. I think that I will look into getting our son one of these for his phone for Christmas. He often takes pictures on the beach and I think that he would appreciate it.

@Juliaacv That little selfie light has three speeds, would be good for selfies or any night photos. You can also hold the light away from the camera, doesn't have to be clipped on. Can you tell I am excited about my new toy!

I should have shared this with the first post but didn't think about it. I was surprised at what all was included. This would be a great gift and it comes in a very nice box too.

Very cool! I had one on my older phone before but I disliked it because I had to remove my phone case. This one looks like you don’t have to? How does it stay on?

I can leave my phone case on. But my case is the clear thin case, see in the photo? Very easy to clip on and off.

what? how'd i miss this? i wonder if'n they've such fer my moto phone? if'n so, 'tis brilliant! wonder if'n ya can clip that light 'hind ya to take better night shots. hmmm, i must go searchin'!

@CarolDM i've asked 'em if'n such'd work'n my cheap phone. i've really been lookin' 't those scopin' gizmos versus spendin' lots 'f funds fer a new main camera. i love my ol' canon, but havin' one with higher resolution 'n more mp's 'd be sweet. so many choices. inexpensive 'tis a good thingy.

I used this a lot in the summer with the flowers and butterflies. I use a different camera for sunsets but there is a night option on this one. I am sure it could be used for night shots. Very inexpensive.
