Hello. Hope everyone is doing fine! So the question is, what is the longest you have had a cellphone for, until you bought a different one, or whatever the case..? For myself, I think it was 4 years or so. That was the first phone I had gotten. The phone I currently have, I have had for about 3 and a half years, been meaning to get a new one, but am still pretty happy with the one I have right now.

I still have a cellphone and not a smartphone and I bought my good Samsung cellphone a little more than 9 years ago.

@dilleo The battery still keeps the charge for a full week. I only use my cellphone in case of emergency calls, I do not need a smartphone.

Nothing wrong with that. As long as it serves a purpose that you need, then it's all good Wow, 9 years? That's great that it has lasted so long. Samsung certainly makes very good quality products!

@LadyDuck Wow, that's awesome! Makes sense, if you do not need a smartphone, more money in the plans and the phone itself anyways.

Probably five years or so was the longest. I am happy with my iPhone I have now.

For me it’s probably roughly 2 or 2.5 years. I change them out after the contract ends.

I have lost the count how many mobiles I must have used by now as number of them were stolen and others went out of order. The longest I used the mobile was Nokia smartphone I forgot the number which was replaced by the company after one year of use as its battery stopped charging. Company charged me a minimal amount but that phone I used for more than 3 years.

I totally get that. I know a lot of people break or lose phones. Luckily for me, that has not happened, I think I have misplaced a phone once or twice, but eventually found it.

I think the longest is for just 6 months. I like changing it frequently.

Nokia seems like they have been around for a good amount of time, they must be pretty durable and trustworthy!

My first big flip phone I had for a few years, probably longer then any other. After that it seems like every couple of years I get a new one. I just got a new iPhone in July, my 'old' one was not quite 2 years old but the touch screen was going on it.

Good stuff. Love iPhones, but then again I haven't tried an Android. When I get my next phone (hopefully soon) I think I will get another iPhone. I think my phone is starting to go, as well. Good choice

Nice, if it's working fine and you are happy with it, that is mostly all that really matters
