Indonesia
August 31, 2020 5:26am CST
It is the end of August and this is my early retirement. I have been thinking about it for a long time and it has come true. Tomorrow September I am ready for everything, wish me. Good luck for everyone. Thanks. So do you know anyone who retired early? What is the reason?

Hope you enjoy your retirement and get all the opportunities to do things that you missed doing all these years. My mom would be retiring in 2021. And we are not sure how it will work for her. She loves her job.

@agusariyanto Oh! She loves her work. She stays alone. I guess mom has enough hobbies to keep her busy when she retires.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes and I also feel that early retirement is the best thing if you can afford it. And of all the jobs that I started always ending early retirement, I am satisfied that there were also no problems while working first, we were still in good touch. What a beautiful memory.

@agusariyanto It was forced retirement. I was fired from my job for being one of the best representatives they had. I'm not joking. It's what they told me when they fired me. Their reason, I took too long to resolve the call. They were doing a mass firing at the time. Anyone who went over the time allowed to resolve calls was fired. I worked in a call center.

Some of my neighbors retire early because they are bored with the work environment and some are due to health conditions.

I retired early 16 years ago at the age of 61. I worked for the Dutch IRS and in 2004 all employees of 57 and older who had worked there for more than 10 years got a choice for early retirement. We got then paid 70% of our salary until the age of 65. I was one of the first to take that opportunity and never regretted it for a day.
