Received a phone call just now from my cousin, the only family member I communicate with. She is my blind cousin I have been really close to, especially when my uncle went through his nursing home COVID death recently.
My uncle has a brother, we do not communicate. Long story. He is 88 years old, in the hospital in another state. He had a heart attack. Has a 95% blockage on one side with a stent placed. His wife said he is stable.
Good to know he is stable and seems to be recovering. She cannot visit due to COVID.

I'm sorry to hear about the uncle. Yes, this virus has made it difficult for so many. I know they limit or restrict visitation for a good reason, but it doesn't make it any easier.

@CarolDM I've had several family members who have had to go to the hospital in recent months... It's scary because you also worry if they could catch the virus from being in the hospital.

Sorry to hear about your uncle. I am glad he's recovering. It's tough when you can't visit your loved ones. Try and have a good Tuesday.

Wow, I am sorry to hear that....I am glad that he is stable though. Sorry that you don't communicate though. It really is awful that nobody can visit anyone due to that still.

A stent should help him quite a bit. Hope the outcome is benefitical.

I'm so sorry. It's so tragic to be so sick without comfort from family.

Sorry to hear about that. With this age, all these complications are very critical.
